ASEAN invites nominations for outstanding individuals and organizations in the region for the ASEAN Prize 2023, which is open from 20 February 2023 to 28 April 2023.

Known as Southeast Asia’s regional premier award, ASEAN Prize confers its annual accolade to individuals and organizations based in ASEAN as a recognition of significant contributions to ASEAN Community-building.

The awardee for ASEAN Prize 2023 will receive a trophy and a monetary prize of US$20,000.

24 February 2023, Jakarta. - Ambassador Hjayceelyn M. Quintana, Permanent Representative of the Republic of the Philippines to ASEAN, co-chaired the 30th ASEAN-EU Joint Cooperation Committee Meeting on 24 February 2023 at the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta, Indonesia with Ms. Barbara Plinkert, Head of the South-East Asia Division of the European External Action Service, and Mr. Ian Hoskins, Deputy Head of Unit for South and South-East Asia, European Commission Directorate-General for International Partnerships.

During the meeting, ASEAN and the EU agreed to build on the momentum of the ASEAN-EU Commemorative Summit held in Brussels, Belgium on 14 December 2022 and to advance cooperation in various areas. END.
