Members of the Committee of Permanent Representatives to ASEAN (CPR) held their first meeting under Myanmar’s chairmanship on 16 January 2014 in Bagan, Myanmar and finalized their work plan for 2014. Ambassador Elizabeth P. Buensuceso (first from left), Permanent Representative of the Philippines to ASEAN, said that the CPR's priorities for the year include the following: 1. ASEAN Communication Master Plan; 2. Activities to celebrate ASEAN Community 2015; 3. Handbook on ASEAN Protocol and Practices; 4. Rules of Procedures and criteria for engagement with entities associated with ASEAN; 5. Terms of Reference for ACC Working Group on ASEAN Community’s post 2015 Vision; 6. Plan of Action to implement the ASEAN-Australia Comprehensive Partnership (2014-2018); 7 . Follow-up to the East Asia Vision Group II Report and Recommendations; 8. Guidelines to implement the APT Cooperation Work Plan; 9. Framework Agreement for Cooperation between ASEAN-UNICEF; 10. Joint Declaration/Statement on ASEAN-Norway Cooperation; 11. ASEAN-GCC Plan of Action; 12. MOU of the ASEAN-India Centre; and 13. TOR for ASEAN-US Project Steering Committee. The CPR, which is composed of all Permanent Representatives of ASEAN Member States, also expressed support to the initiatives of Myanmar, which is chairing ASEAN for the first time since joining the organization in 1997.- END
