09 August 2021, Jakarta. – Ambassador Noel Servigon, Permanent Representative of the Philippines to ASEAN, continued the Philippine Mission’s webinar series on the ASEAN Charter for Timor Leste Diplomats with its fourth installment on ASEAN’s External Relations.

With the recent admission of the United Kingdom as ASEAN’s eleventh Dialogue Partner, the discussion on ASEAN’s External Relations proved timely. There was also a vibrant exchange of views on ASEAN’s role in the regional architecture and its interplay with the concepts of ASEAN Centrality and Consensus.

The last two parts of the Webinar Series will be on Dispute Settlement in the ASEAN Charter and on the Charter’s General and Final Provisions on dates that will have to be arranged.
