Amb. Servigon conducts his lecture on the ASEAN Charter

JAKARTA, 29 April  2021 – Philippine Permanent Representative to ASEAN, Ambassador Noel Servigon, conducted a webinar on the ASEAN Charter before the members of the University of Sto. Tomas Asian Studies Society on 29 April  2021.

His talk covered the “Membership of ASEAN” and the “Organization of ASEAN Organs and Bodies.”   Due to time constraints,  other topics on the ASEAN Charter will be tackled in future sessions.

The webinar was intended to promote ASEAN awareness, enhance understanding of the ASEAN Charter and promote discussion on relevant issues relating to the ASEAN Charter.

An open forum, which gave an opportunity for the students to discuss issues related to the ASEAN Charter with the Ambassador, followed the lecture.  (END)
