The Permanent Mission of the Philippines to ASEAN joined the ASEAN Women’s Circle (AWC) in supporting the “Special Kids Expo 2019: # Beauty in Ability” held on Saturday, 24 August 2019 at the Jakarta Convention Center. The AWC has been supporting Yayasan MPATI (Masyarakat Peduli Autis Indonesia) in its endeavors to raise awareness and opportunities for children with special needs. The AWC booth raised funds through items donated from the different ASEAN Member States, including the Philippines, and dialogue partners. There were also fun activities such as henna painting and découpage.
