08 May 2019 – Ambassador Noel Eugene Eusebio M. Servigon presented his Letter of Credence to ASEAN Secretary-General Dato Lim Jock Hoi today at the ASEAN Secretariat. Ambassador Servigon arrived in Jakarta in the evening of 07 May 2019 to assume his duties as the Permanent Representative of the Republic of the Philippines to ASEAN, a position that will entail a very close working relationship with the Jakarta-based ASEAN Secretariat.

The Secretary-General, together with all of the ASEAN Deputy Secretaries-General, warmly welcomed Ambassador Servigon and his spouse, Madame Marichu Servigon, to the ASEAN family and conveyed the Secretariat’s full support and cooperation in advancing mutual interests.

In turn, Ambassador Servigon expressed his eagerness to meet and work with the rest of the ASEAN Secretariat, particularly to support initiatives to further strengthen the ASEAN Secretariat.

Prior to his assignment in Jakarta, Ambassador Servigon served as the Philippine Ambassador to Viet Nam. END.
