29 April 2019 – Ambassador Elizabeth P. Buensuceso, Permanent Representative of the Philippines to ASEAN, paid a farewell call on Indonesia Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi to express appreciation for the support and cooperation accorded to her during her 6-year tour of duty in Indonesia. Ambassador Buensuceso also highlighted Minister Marsudi’s support to ASEAN processes and mechanisms.

Minister Marsudi expressed her personal appreciation to Ambassador Buensuceso for her contributions during the High-Level Dialogue on Indo-Pacific Cooperation hosted by the Government of Indonesia in March 2019. She also expressed that Indonesia will continue to nurture its relationship with the Philippines and with other Member States to build an even stronger ASEAN.

Ambassador Buensuceso also took the opportunity to present Foreign Minister Retno with the publication entitled Sem Sem No Sem: A Cookbook of ASEAN Noodle Dishes which was one of the outcomes of the Philippine-organized Mini-Festival of ASEAN Noodle Dishes. END.
