Ambassador Elizabeth P. Buensuceso, Permanent Representative of the Philippines to ASEAN, participated in the 3rd ASEAN-Norway Joint Sectoral Committee Meeting on 28 May 2018 at the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Meeting was co-chaired by Deputy Secretary-General for the ASEAN Political-Security Community Hoang Anh Tuan and Ambassador of Norway to ASEAN Morten Høglund, and was attended by other members of the Committee of Permanent Representatives to ASEAN. Norwegian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Marianne Hagen also participated in the meeting.
The Meeting reaffirmed ASEAN and Norway’s commitment to further strengthen and broaden the partnership by exploring practical cooperation in mutually beneficial areas.
