11 July 2017 MANILA – The Philippines, as Chair of the ASEAN Connectivity Coordinating Committee (ACCC), will host the Master Plan on ASEAN Connectivity (MPAC) 2025 Forum on Initiative and Project Concepts on 12-13 July 2017 in Alabang, Metro Manila, Philippines.

The Forum will bring together high-level experts and relevant stakeholders engaged in MPAC 2025 initiatives from throughout the ASEAN region, particularly the ASEAN Connectivity Coordinating Committee (ACCC), National Coordinators and National Focal Points for MPAC 2025, Dialogue Partners, relevant ASEAN Sectoral bodies and implementing agencies, ASEAN Dialogue Partners, international organisations and other external parties, to share perspectives on the processes, outputs and intended outcomes of the Master Plan.

The Forum will set the course towards the implementation of initiatives identified under the Master Plan, involving the five strategic areas of Sustainable Infrastructure; Digital Innovation; Seamless Logistics; Regulatory Excellence; and People Mobility.

The MPAC 2025 Forum will be organised by the Philippines, with the support of the ASEAN-Australia Development Cooperation Program Phase II (AADCP II) and the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA), and the assistance of the ASEAN Secretariat.
