09 March 2017 Jakarta - H.E. Elizabeth P. Buensuceso welcomes H.E. Tamerlan Garayev, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Ambassador Garayev is an accredited Ambassador to ASEAN. The call focused on Azerbaijan's intention to further engagements with ASEAN. With Ambassador Buensuceso's initiative as the current Chair of the Committee of Permanent Representatives to ASEAN (CPR) to increase engagement and participation from Non-ASEAN Ambassadors accredited to ASEAN, countries with no formal engagement with ASEAN, such as Azerbaijan,  are given an opportunity to explore various areas of cooperation with the regional group. Around 80 Non-ASEAN Ambassadors are accredited to ASEAN​
