25 April 2019 - The Permanent Mission of the Philippines to ASEAN joined more than 20 participants from ASEAN Member States (AMS), Dialogue and External Partner Countries in the annual ASEAN Women’s Circle Charity Food Fair held at the ASEAN. The colorful Philippine booth entered its crowd-pleasing contributions of bistek tagalog and turon.

The AWC is composed of spouses of diplomats and officials from AMS countries. Its membership is also open to members of the Filipino community. The AWC aims to promote ASEAN solidarity and friendship through various socio-cultural and related activities. Proceeds from the food fair will go to charitable institutions in Indonesia. END.
