Ambassador/Permanent Representative of the Philippines to ASEAN Hjayceelyn M. Quintana delivers remarks during the launch of the ASEAN Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform held at the ASEAN Secretariat on 27 June 2023. The launch was jointly led by Deputy Secretary-General for ASEAN Economic Community Satvinder Singh, Director General for Environment Florika Fink-Hooijer of the European Commission, and ASEAN Centre for Sustainable Development Studies and Dialogue Executive Director Chirachai Punkrasin.

The platform is envisioned to be a regional facility helping ASEAN Member States to achieve sustainable consumption and production by accelerating transition to a circular economy.

As country coordinator for ASEAN-EU dialogue relations, Ambassador Quintana welcomed the support of the European Union, through the Enhanced EU-ASEAN Dialogue Instrument, in the sharing of best practices and strategies to the platform. END.
